Winemaker
Bill Easton is well known throughout the U.S. for making high quality Rhone-styled wines. Bill has been in the wine business for over 30 years, not only as a winemaker, but as a wine retailer, an importer and vineyard consultant. Since the mid-1980's, Bill has been one of the leading winemakers in the Sierra Foothills where he owns Domain de la Terre Rouge and Easton Wines. Bill joined forces with Janie and Brent in 2006.
Vineyard Manager
Bill Naylor of Naylor Farms has over 25 years of experience managing vineyards in the Sierra Foothills. He began working with Diamond Springs Vineyard in 2002 selecting the root stock (101-14) and 337 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone, plotting the vineyard and designing the trellising system (a variation of the Scott Henry system) to fit the particular light and air circulation conditions in the canyon.
Ranch Manager
Luis Cortez started working with Janie and Brent in the spring of 2000. Luis' expertise as a stonemason has been critical to the creation of the ranch as it exists today - it was his vision to harvest stone from the property to construct the many walls and terraces throughout the ranch. Luis also planted the olive orchard and designed it's irrigation system. He continues to be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the ranch.
